Ken Baker
President and CEO, TechBroker LLC

Ken, an accomplished auto industry executive, is widely recognized as the 'father' of the EV-1, General Motors' groundbreaking all-electric vehicle. Ken's career at General Motors spanned from 1969-99, and included key roles as Program Manager, GM Electric Vehicles; Vice President, GM Research and Development; and Vice President & General Manager, GM Distributed Energy Business Unit. Ken was Founding Chairman of the United States Advanced Battery Consortium and, while Vice President, GM R&D, was recognized as one of the top 25 research leaders in the world. From 2000-2007, Ken served as President and CEO of Altarum. Ken is a member of the Board of Directors of AeroVironment, Ener1, Millennium Cell, and the National Coalition for Advanced Manufacturing (NACFAM); and a member of the Board of Governors of the Cranbrook Institute of Science.

Felix Kramer
Founder, California Cars Initiative

Felix founded The California Cars Initiative in 2002, a nonprofit group that uniquely combines advocacy and technology development to raise awareness of Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). CalCars’ mission is to bring to market the next generation of clean, advanced technology vehicles. A Silicon Valley entrepreneur, prior to CalCars, Felix founded one of the first desktop publishing companies, wrote the first book on the business of electronic publishing, created a trade association for energy conservation businesses, started computer user groups, created a major public event for solar energy, and created and wrote pioneering exposes of private computer and health vocational training schools. Felix has also served as a Congressional speechwriter, a journalist, and in the capacity of Executive Director.

Lawrence G. Norris
Patent Attorney and Intellectual Property Consultant

Larry practices as an independent patent attorney and intellectual property consultant. He has extensive experience and background in the intellectual property law field including licensing and intellectual property related business agreements, litigation and the development of patent coverage on high-tech inventions originating from advanced science and technology programs. Larry retired from the Washington, D.C.-based intellectual property law firm, Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Kurtz in 1997, where he was a partner. Prior to that, Larry joined Energy Conversion Devices as vice president, general counsel and patent counsel with responsibilities for developing ECD’s patent portfolio and for negotiating its licensing and intellectual property related business agreements. Before ECD, Larry was at Polaroid as associate patent counsel where he was responsible for developing Polaroid’s patent portfolio on the SX-70 camera, later asserted in the litigation with Eastman Kodak. Prior to Polaroid, Larry served as division patent counsel for several divisions of General Electric Company, including its Computer and Control Division. Larry is a graduate of The University of Illinois (BSEE), Northeastern University (MSEE) and the Boston College Law School (J.D.), is a member of the bars of Massachusetts, Virginia and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to practice as a patent attorney before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
